Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak after dropping a couple of points in the Ghana premier league following their player rotation and fatigue in their squad have come out strong to make a statement on the pitch after hosting Berekum Chelsea at the Cape Coast Stadium for one of their outstanding GPL matches.

Berekum Chelsea has been a tough side for Accra Hearts of Oak but the current form and players at the disposal of Coach Samuel Boadu and his Assistant Hamza Obeng gave them an edge over their visitors.

Kofi Kordzi puts Hearts of Oak in the lead after connecting to a cross from William Dankyi in the 20th minute and the Phobians defended their lead into the first half.

Coach Samuel Boadu who has previously given away maximum points after first half ensured his side were resolute this time around with his tactics on point.

Kofi Kordzi who was having a wonderful afternoon did not waste much time in getting on the score sheet again in the second half as he connected yet again to a cross from William Dankyi who marked his second assist for the day. Kordzi’s 52nd goal was enough to see Accra Hearts of Oak swoop all three points from Berekum Chelsea.
