Aguero announces his retirement from football

The Argentine striker Sergio Kun Aguero had to bring his footballing career to a swift halt after concerns of his heart during a Laliga game.

Aguero during his time as a player played for Atletico Madrid, Manchester City where he won many awards as well as the hearts of the fans at the Etihad Stadium and the football fanatics.

After winning his last English Premier League title with Manchester City, Sergio Kun Aguero saw his contract with City roll out and singed for Fc Barcelona who were struggling to find a striker to replace Suarez.

Kun Aguero joined Fc Barcelona with an injury and after nursing his injury he joined the team and showcased why he was one of the most prolific strikers to hit the field.

In a Laliga encounter against Alaves, Aguero went down and when the medics rushed to his aid, the striker complained of difficulty in breathing and was swiftly taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Today, Kun Sergio Aguero announced his retirement from football following the advice of his medical team.

“This conference is to announce I have decided to stop playing professional football, It is a very difficult moment. The decision I have taken for my health; the problem I had a month and a half ago. “I have been in good hands with the medical staff. I made the decision 10 days ago after doing everything possible to have some hope of playing on.” said Aguero.

He continued to add, “I want to thank Atletico Madrid who took a chance on me when I was 18 and Manchester City, everyone knows who I feel about City and how well they treated me there. I will leave with my head held high. I don’t know what awaits me in the next part of my life. But I know I have people who love me. I will always remember the amazing things.”
