Liverpool Fc who have had a phenomenon season so far have posed a threat to Manchester City and Chelsea Fc in the EPL title race after Chelsea Fc slipped from the top of the table.

Liverpool Fc has followed steadily behind Manchester City with some impressive performances and ensured they recorded a goal in every one of their games.

Leicester City in the EPL week-19 fixture against Liverpool was a different affair as the Foxes ensured the winning run of Liverpool Fc would not continue.

With a full house for Liverpool Fc, it was expected by many sports enthusiasts that Liverpool will walk over Leicester City as they have over other teams but their luck was written on a different star this time around.

Mohammed Salah who has been making and breaking records this season with his prolific goal scoring ability had the chance to put Liverpool in front from the spot kick but ever reliable Kasper Peter Schmeichel saved his effort to keep his side in the game.

The first half ended null with all stats of the game favouring Liverpool to pick a win at the King Power Stadium until Leicester City found the weakness in the Liverpool defense in the second half.

In the 59th minute, Ademola Lookman with the only shot on target for Leicester City found the back of the net to give his side the most searched lead.

It now required a team effort from Leicester City to keep Liverpool at bay and Daniel Amartey together with his teammates at the backline defended gallantly to ensure they added the three points to their tally as Liverpool on the night walked alone.
