Ghanaian referee, Mr. Daniel Laryea has been selected as one of the referees to officiate at the TotalEnergies AFCON tournament in Cameroon 2022.
The Ghanaian referee after a wonderful display in the Ghana premier league among other competitions got the favour of CAF to be selected to represent Ghana as the only Ghanaian referee during the tournament.
Ghana has qualified to participate in the AFCON tournament to be hosted in Cameroon and this representation gives Ghana a good picture although the number still is insignificant.
With many persons doubting the competence of Mr. Daniel Laryea, the FIFA referee has remained resolute in his activities and continued to exert his duties with diligence.
“We are human and there are some errors that we can all make. The good thing is that we learn from these errors and make sure we learn from them and make better judgements in the future.” said Daniel Laryea.
