His absence saw his Ass. coach Hamza Obeng take charge of the team through the second half where he did not disappoint his boss who was probably watching them from his hospital bed.
The game which ended which Gladson Awako firing one from distance to win Accra Hearts of Oak all the three points was dedicated to the coach for been resilient and believing in his team.
“I saw our coach been taken in an ambulance while we were on the bench, we were all scared for a moment but we believed nothing was going to happen to his. He is a strong man. When I was subbed onto the pitch, I wanted to make his proud, we actually wanted to make his proud and we won the game for him.” said Gladson Awako
