The IOC President will be at the press conference at 11 a.m. CST on Friday 18 February, in the Main Press Conference Room in the Main Media Centre (MMC).

Media representatives who are unable to join in person will be able to watch the press conference live on YouTube.

The following day (19 February) will see day two of the 139th IOC Session being held at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC).

Due to the COVID-19 countermeasures, there will be no working area in the CNCC. Media representatives are therefore encouraged to work at the MMC. Owing to the restrictions, and in accordance with the Playbook rules, the IOC Session will also be closed to ENG cameras and photographers.

As was the case for the first day of the 139th IOC Session, the second day’s proceedings will be available to watch via closed circuit TV at the MMC and on the IOC Media YouTube channel.

NB: Following the decision to streamline the institutional meetings in Beijing due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the 139th IOC Session will conclude on 20 May 2022.
