The second World Boxing Qualifiers for tickets to Paris 2024 Olympic Games had not been easy.

The Ghana story had been mixed with sadness and joy in the ring at-Indoor arena in Huamark Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

As the competition progress and losers fall out, it becomes tough for the winners who sail on.

Ghana presented seven boxers and three are still in contention, while four could not make it close for a slot to Paris 2024 Olympic.

In matches coming up, Light Welterweight -63.5Kg (R16) JOSEPH COMMEY takes on Emelio Garcia (USA) with two more bouts to get a ticket.

Flyweight-51Kg THEOPHILUS KPAKPO ALLOTEY fights on 30th May against Anvarzhan Khadzhiev (Kyrgyzstan)

In the Women’s Middleweight -75Kg (Rd 16), ORNELLA SATHOUD faces Aynur Rzayeva (Azerbaijan) on 1st June, 2024.

The boxers whose Paris Dream has fizzled out are Amadu Mohammed (Featherweigt – 57Kg), Henry Malm (Light Middleweight -71Kg), Jonathan Tetteh (Heavyweight -92Kg) and Mark Kojovi Ahondjo (Super Heavyweight -92+kg)
