The Ambassador of France to Ghana, Jules Armand Aniambossou, will pay a working visit to the ongoing Ghana Football Association – French Football Federation Coaches Education program at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence at Prampram.
The Ambassador shall be hosted by the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
His visit is to observe activities being undertaken by Course participants and Facilitators and also to interact with them. Twenty-four (24) Women’s Football Coaches are participating in this week-long training programme which falls under the wider Ghana Olympique Project.
Funded by the Government of France, this is a first-of-its-kind strategic collaboration between the Ghana Football Association and the French Football Federation, with support from the French Embassy in Ghana.
As part of the visit, the Ambassador will hold discussions with the President and take a tour of the Technical Center of the Ghana Football Association.
The training for the Coaches is part of a strategic initiative that is designed to revolutionise Women’s football in Ghana by providing unparalleled professional developmental opportunities to Women in Football as well as other Sports Professionals involved with Women’s Football in Ghana.
Under the Ghana Olympique Project, Ghana’s Black Princesses (National U20 Female Team) trained at the widely acclaimed France National Training Centre, Clairefontaine, in February.
