Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn in Group B of the WAFU-B CAF Champions League qualifiers alongside Edo Queens, Omnisports Etincelle and AS Garde National.
The draw, supervised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) was held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt.
The five-time Ghanaian champions would once again hope for a place in the continental showpiece after missing out in previous years.
Hasaacas Ladies would begin their campaign against Omnisports Etincelle next month before taking on Edo Queens FC and AS Garde National respectively.
Elsewhere in Group A, FC Inter D’Abidjan of Cote D’Ivoire, AS GNN of Benin and Ainonvi FC of Togo will also fight for a place in the competition.
Hasaacas Ladies finished second in the 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League after losing to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns by two unanswered goals.
