As part of developing a football on the continent, the programme saw CAF inviting seasoned sport industry and academic experts who delved deep into subjects of Communications, Marketing, Legal, Governance, Finance as well as Stakeholder Relations amongst other modules that are required to effectively run a world-class administration.

Thanking CAF on behalf of the General Secretaries, Lamin Jassey of The Gambia heaped praise on the CAF leadership, saying that CAF displayed great foresight in conceptualising such an impactful programme.

“On behalf of all the General Secretaries, we want to thank CAF for having the foresight of seeing the challenges that the GS faces on daily basis. Putting together such a programme shows great foresight and leadership that is future-thinking and has the interests of the future of African football at heart.  We narrated some of the challenges and we will continue to face challenges for as long as we are General Secretaires, but through such programmes, we are well equipped to respond and find solutions accordingly.
