With just days to go before the much-anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup 2024, the Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) has announced that the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh will host the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup 2024 Final.
The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup 2024 will be played on Friday, 27 September, in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh at 21h00 Local Time (18h00 GMT).
The match was sold out in 24 hours.
TotalEnergies CAF Champions League record-holders, Al Ahly SC take on Zamalek SC – champions of the CAF Confederation Cup in what is set to be an explosive Egyptian derby for the ultimate African club football crown.
The newly built 22,000-capacity arena, which boasts two Guinness World Record awards for the largest covered football stadium with a non-retractable roof, was officially opened in January this year and has since hosted a number of high-profile international events.
Not only will the match be a global display of the best African football clubs, but this year’s tie is further enhanced by the launch of CAF’s new visual identity for the CAF Super Cup, symbolizing the competition’s ongoing evolution and rising prestige.
