Albert K. Frimpong, President of African Baseball and former President of Ghana Baseball was elected a board member of this new body.
He told Yours Truly “This new body is affiliated to ANOCA. It’s similar to ASOIF, with the main objective to fight to ensure that African competitions become Olympic qualifiers and save African sports teams from travelling so far to other parts of the world to compete to qualify for Olympics. It will also work with African Confederations and bodies to help better support and prepare our talents and athletes to achieve greater heights etc”.
Mr. Albert K. Frimpong is an executive board member of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
