Former Aduana Stars and Al Ahli Tripoli striker, Isaac Mintah, has commenced training with Asante Kotoko as he seeks a new club.
Currently a free agent, Mintah will be under the scrutiny of Kotoko’s technical team, who will assess his performance before deciding whether to offer him a contract.
The 25-year-old forward brings experience from his stints in both the Ghana Premier League and the Libyan league. If successful in his trial, Mintah could provide an additional attacking option for Asante Kotoko as they look to bolster their squad this season after the departure of Sudanese forward Yagoub.
Mintah was lethal in the Ghana Premier League last campaign, having netted 9 goals and provided three assists in 11 matches to lead the top scoring chart after the first round before departing to join Al Ahli Tripoli.
The highly-rated player scored 17 goals in 38 appearances in the Ghanaian top division since joining Aduana from the lower division side New Edubiase United FC in August 2022.
