Top rated Ghanaian Middleweight boxer, Elvis Ahorgah popularly known as ‘Soldier Boxer’ takes on British Commonwealth champion Callum Simpson at Wembley in London, England on 1st February 2025 with the Commonwealth Super Middleweight title at stake.

The bout is an undercard of Adam Azim-Sergey Lipinets at London’s Wembley Arena.

Ahorgah was supposed to fight in UK earlier but could not make it due to travel arrangements, but he has promised to deliver victory this time.

With a record of 13 wins,12 by KO and two defeats he wants to win the title because of its importance and relevance. 

“It’s a long time since a Ghana man won the Commonwealth title belt and I believe this is my opportunity to make record and history for myself and the nation” he told Yours Truly at the Black Panthers Gym on Wednesday.

Callum Simpson has 16 wins with no lose. He is also hungry for world honours and want to keep  the belt. He is one of the prospects in Britain Boxing. Born in Barnsley, Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, he has good backing.

Mr. Ebenezer Adjei, coach of the Black Panthers Gym at Jamestown in. Accra is optimistic of a successful experience for Ahorgah as the weather and crowd might be an advantage for Simpson, but they are positive minded for a good show at famous Wembley Arena. 

As a professional boxing coach with much travel experience, he hopes to guide Ahorgah to surmount all the difficulties and remain focused on the title. 

Ahorgah and Baubali fought in an epic duel which drew many fans to the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra. He has also fought in Tanzania where he lost.
