Ghana will be among over 20 African countries that will participate in the 2025 Beach Volleyball Continental Championship in Morocco.

The Championship scheduled for June 23-30, would have both genders competing for honours and would also serve as qualifiers for the FIVB 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Adelaide, Australia in November this year.

Ghana would compete in the both male and female categories of the Continental Championships which would be held in Tetouan – Martil Beach, Morocco from 23rd to 30th June 2025.

The four top teams from each category would book qualification to the world championships.

In all 88 pairs of women from 22 countries would seek for glory in the female category, whilst 27 pair of men would battle it out in the men’s category.

According to a statement from CAVB, 22 countries have confirmed participation for the women category, whilst 27 countries are set for the men category.

Delegates are expected to arrive on 23d June 2025 for Preliminary Inquiry and Technical.

There would also be under-21 championships for both men and women at the same venue with the winners going for the world championships in Mexico.

This would be followed by continental meetings the next day with the competition fixed for June 25-29, 2025.
