Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has expressed confidence that the Black Stars will respond positively when they face Germany in their upcoming international friendly.
Ghana head into Monday’s clash eager to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Austria, a result that exposed several weaknesses as the team continues its preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Reflecting on that setback, Konigsdorffer admitted the performance fell short of expectations but insisted the squad has taken valuable lessons from the experience.
“Of course, it wasn’t our best game. But tomorrow we want to perform better than the last game. We made some mistakes in the game against Austria, but we have analysed the mistakes and want to do better.”
The forward emphasized that the team remains focused on growth rather than dwelling on past errors, pointing out that the current fixtures are part of a broader preparation process.
“And we keep going. And like the coach said, there was even worse situations here before the last World Cup. And yeah, it’s just a friendly game.”

He further assured supporters that the players are determined to show improvement when they take to the pitch.
“So, we made mistakes the other time and we want to do better tomorrow and hopefully we can do it.”
Kickoff for the encounter is set for 18:45 GMT, with Ghana aiming to deliver a stronger and more disciplined performance against a formidable European opponent.
