England’s World No.5 Sarah-Jane Perry has withdrawn from the upcoming Windy City Open 2022 Presented by the Walter Family due to personal reasons.
The PSA World Tour Platinum event will take place in Chicago between February 23 – March 2 and action will be shown live on SQUASHTV.
Her withdrawal means that Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb receives a first round bye and will face Belgium’s Nele Gilis in the second round. England’s Georgina Kennedy takes El Tayeb’s spot in the draw and will face USA’s Olivia Fiechter.
Rachel Arnold now faces Tsz-Wing Tong in the opening round, while Spain’s Cristina Gomez comes into the draw and will face Belgium’s Tinne Gilis.
