The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) marked a milestone for Nigerian sports on April 29, 2026, with the inauguration of the Olympafrica Centre and the groundbreaking of its integrated Olympic City project in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, according to Tony Nezianya, Public Relations Officer of the NOC.
“These initiatives unlock multiple strategic benefits for our sporting ecosystem,” said Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, President of the NOC and project lead.
