Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has pledged a determined performance from his team ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League clash with Asante Kotoko this Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The former Kotoko star, who guided Bibiani Gold Stars to their maiden Ghana Premier League title last season, is preparing his side for a challenging encounter against a Porcupine Warriors team struggling for form. Kotoko have won just one of their last five league matches and sit sixth on the table, while Nations FC are eighth.

Speaking to the club’s media team, Manso emphasized his team’s commitment to pushing for a result.

“We will try and go for a win. No matter the situation, we have to do that. We know it’s going to be very tough; we need to work above ourselves if we want a win against Kotoko… and we are going to do that,” he said.

Manso’s deep understanding of Kotoko adds an intriguing dimension to the fixture, but his focus remains squarely on extracting peak performance from his squad. The Week 26 showdown kicks off at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Stadium.
