The 2024 (third) edition of the Cartel Foundation Health Walk which was held on Friday December 6 ahead of the General Elections has been described as very successful.
The Walk was under the theme: Walk For Health. Walk For Peace. Together Towards A Peaceful Ghana.
CEO of Cartel Foundation, Mr. Henry Owoo said the main objectives of creating awareness of a peaceful. free and fair elections process was achieved.
He said the attendance was good as many people may be tired due to the previous day political activities of the two big parties in the country.
He advised Ghanaians to vote peacefully and wisely
He hinted that the idea of organising Health Walks in other regions is on the drawing board.
The PRO of Cartel Foundation, Ms. Sandra commended the guests who showed up at the event.
She expressed that Cartel Foundation is into social interventions and they plan supporting some educational institutions in the Northern and Volta Region.
Some participants who chatted with Yours Truly said the exercises and experience was great.
The three hours Health Walk stared at the Mamprobi Post Office, went through Korle Gonno and the principal streets of James Town, Ga Mashie, Korle Bu and ended at the AME Zion School at Mamprobi.
A musician who was touched by the philanthropic nature of Cartel Foundation presented a portrait to the CEO.
