The Ghana Football Association has signed a three-year partnership with Procus Ghana Limited, producers of Kivo products, to strengthen juvenile football development in the country.

The deal, signed on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the GFA headquarters, will see the launch of the Kivo Juvenile U-17 Club Champions League — a nationwide competition designed to give young players a structured pathway from the regional level to the national stage.

Speaking at the signing, GFA Vice President Mark Addo said the agreement goes beyond sponsorship.

“Today’s agreement is more than a sponsorship; it’s a bold investment in the future of Ghana football. Every football legend starts as a young boy or girl with a dream, a passion, and an opportunity,” Addo said.

Under the competition format, affiliated U-17 clubs in each region will compete in regional leagues organized by the Regional Football Associations. The champion club from each region will then qualify to represent their region at the national championship stage.

Addo stressed that the league will serve as a critical talent and education pathway. Scouts, coaches, technical directors, and experts will be present to identify the next generation of stars for club and country.

Kivo’s support will include jerseys, football boots, and sporting equipment to aid the development of young talents across Ghana.

“To Kivo and Procus Ghana Limited, we say thank you for believing in the vision of Ghana football and for investing in our youth, who are the true future of the game,” Addo added.

Head of Marketing at Procus Ghana Limited, Evans Kwofie, said the partnership reflects Kivo’s commitment to Ghana’s football heritage and youth potential.

He noted that the brand’s ambassador, Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus, will be actively involved in the collaboration.

“Kudus represents the spirit of excellence, determination, and ambition for this partnership. As a proud Ghanaian brand found in homes across the nation, we are honored to play a role in shaping the future of Ghana football and empowering the next generation,” he said.

The event was attended by Procus Ghana Limited Executive Director Chief Ibrahim Umaru Mojo, Marketing Head Evans Kwofie, Kate Amponsah, and GFA Head of Marketing Jamil Marabey, along with staff from both organizations.
