The Tojemarine Invitational Handball Championship 2026 continued to deliver high-octane action today at the National Institute of Sport Indoor Hall in Surulere. In a highly anticipated Women’s Category fixture, Flowers of Benin secured a decisive 36–25 victory over Kalibi Handball Club.
Despite the final scoreline, the match highlighted the immense talent and grit within the Kalibi HC squad. For the second consecutive match in this round-robin tournament, Kalibi HC faced a challenging result, unable to secure the win or a share of the points.

In a display of individual brilliance, Alfreda Annobil of Kalibi Handball Club was named the match MVP. Her offensive output was exceptional; she proved to be a lethal threat, showcasing precision in her scoring and consistent pressure throughout the entire game. Even as the team faced a tough day on the court, Annobil remained a consistent force, shouldering much of the attacking burden for her team and constantly finding the back of the net to keep them in contention.
