Emmanuel Adebayor: 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 of the Togo national team was honored in Lomé over the weekend with former players like Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Eto’o, Stephen Appiah etc joining the event.

The talented star organused a farewell match to announce his retirement from international football.

Adebayor led Togo to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, aside being Togo’s all-time topscorer.

He was named 2007 BBC African Footballer of the Year, 2008 African Player of the Year, 2007/08 BBC Goal of the Season and 2007/08 Premier League PFA Team of the Year.
