The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has added the KIVO/JLAB U-17 Inter-Clubs Champions League to the 2026/27 Colts football calendar, creating another competitive platform for young players to develop and gain valuable match experience.
KIVO and JLAB will serve as sponsors of the new competition, supporting the GFA’s efforts to expand opportunities for emerging footballers at grassroots level.
Speaking during the GFA’s 32nd Congress, where the Association unveiled a new wave of corporate partnerships, GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku highlighted the growing role of corporate Ghana in supporting domestic football.
“Corporate Ghana continues to demonstrate unwavering confidence in our vision for the development of domestic football,” he said.
The KIVO/JLAB U-17 Inter-Clubs Champions League will add another layer to the Colts calendar, giving young footballers an additional avenue to compete and progress within Ghana’s football development structure.
